How, you ask, is my new TOEFL iBT text different from all those other texts? For lots of reasons. One is idioms. My new text is very idiomatic, something all those other texts aren't. Why does my new text contain so many idioms? Because that is how native English speakers communicate: idiomatically.
That is just one way my new TOEFL text is different. I emphasize idiomatic English in an academic context. Remember: If you use idioms proficiently, you will demonstrate language use. This, in turn, will result in a higher TOEFL iBT score.
